Rising young racer Lewis Turkington has confirmed that he will join the prestigious Club 100 grid for the 2026 season, competing in the highly competitive Junior Super Lightweight category.
The move marks an exciting additional chapter in Turkington’s racing journey as he looks to build valuable experience against some of the best young karting talent from across the country. Known for producing top-level drivers and close, high-intensity competition, Club 100 provides the perfect platform for developing racers.
Speaking about the announcement, Lewis shared his enthusiasm for the challenge ahead:
“I’m really excited to be joining the Club 100 grid this year. The Junior categories are full of talented drivers, and I’m looking forward to pushing myself, learning as much as possible, and gaining more racing experience against some of the best kids in the UK. I’ve just completed two test days in the Club 100 karts and made good steps forward throughout the 8 sessions. Ending the final day 6th fastest was a promising start for me and I can’t wait for the season opener in just four weeks time.”
The 2026 season promises to be a significant step for the teenager as he continues his development as a Junior racing driver. With a focus on intensity, consistency and race craft, Turkington is eager to make the most of every lap in every machine this year.
The Club 100 announcement represents the first confirmed championship for the young Driving Dyslexia Forward ambassador, adding an exciting new element to his racing programme alongside his on-track action in cars.
Supporters can look forward to following Lewis’s progress as he takes on a new challenge around new circuits on this next stage of his journey in one of the UK’s fastest arrive-and-drive karting series.
