LEWIS TURKINGTON LAUNCHES NEW CLUB TO INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION
Lewis Launches Driving Dyslexia Forward Club
17th April 2026
- Rising junior racing driver Lewis Turkington has officially launched his Driving Dyslexia Forward Club, marking an exciting new chapter in his mission to challenge perceptions and remove the stigma surrounding dyslexia.
- Originally founded by Lewis in 2023 as an awareness initiative, Driving Dyslexia Forward has already begun to make an impact using motorsport as a platform to promote a powerful message: dyslexia is not a limitation. Now, with the introduction of the Club, Lewis is taking that message further.
- The Driving Dyslexia Forward Club is designed to bring together a community of individuals, families, and businesses who share a belief in empowering young people with dyslexia.
- Through connection, support, and shared experiences, the Club aims to inspire children and teenagers to embrace who they are, work hard on self-improvement, and pursue their ambitions with confidence.
- At the heart of the Club is a unique membership offering. With a one-off joining fee of £75, members will gain access to exclusive motorsport experiences—creating unforgettable opportunities to engage with the sport while supporting a meaningful cause.

HEAR FROM LEWIS AND HIS HOPES
Lewis has always been open about his belief that dyslexia should never define or limit a person’s potential. Instead, he champions the idea that with dedication, self-belief, and hard work, anything is possible.
“Dyslexia is not a limit. What you put your mind to is what shapes your future. It might take time to understand your strengths, but once you do, that’s where you can really thrive. Looking back, in those early stages, it can make you feel like you’re “less than”, but with hindsight I now actually feel “more than”. Mindset is everything though and it must be backed up by hard work. If you’re willing to graft for what you want, keep improving, and lean into your strengths and weaknesses, that’s where real success comes from. That’s the message I want to share with young people, “said Lewis.
COLLABORATION
The Club also aims to act as a platform for collaboration, encouraging businesses and supporters to play a role in driving awareness forward and helping to create real opportunities for young people with dyslexia. Each event will provide a chance to connect, share ideas, and build initiatives that deliver meaningful impact.
While still in its early stages, the ambition behind the Driving Dyslexia Forward Club is clear. With the support of its members, events, and growing community, Lewis is excited about the impact it can make in the years ahead.
SEASON LAUNCH
The launch coincides with the opening round of the 2026 Fiesta Junior Championship, where Lewis will proudly carry the Driving Dyslexia Forward Club branding on his race car and suit. The Club’s logo will feature prominently on the bonnet of his Fiesta race car, as well as on his racewear, ensuring the message is visible on and off the track.
This is more than just a launch—it’s the beginning of a community.
One lap at a time, Lewis Turkington is helping to redefine what dyslexia means to young people on their journey —and inspiring the next generation to do the same.
