FUELING POTENTIAL: DLF DOMESTIC SERVICES EXPAND PARTNERSHIP TO INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION

12th March 2026

  • Junior Racing Driver and Driving Dyslexia Forward founder Lewis Turkington has today announced an expanded partnership with Darren Faulkner, owner of DLF Domestic Services.
  • A loyal supporter of Lewis since 2023, Faulkner has increased his commitment for the upcoming season by becoming the lead sponsor for Lewis’s vital pre-season Fiesta Junior testing programme.
  • Lewis began his testing programme on Saturday last week and heads to Snetterton for test #2 tomorrow (Friday 13th March).
  • The partnership is built on a shared mission: to prove to young people that academic struggles do not define their future.
  • Together, the duo is in the early planning stages of a new school-based initiative designed to inspire students who find the traditional educational setting a challenge.

WHY SPONSOR THE TEST PROGRAMME?

For Darren Faulkner, the sponsorship is about more than branding on a race car; it’s about instilling a “hard work” mindset. As a self-made professional who built DLF Domestic Services through grit and determination, Darren wants to show students that passion and a strong work ethic can change the course of their lives.

“Lewis is the perfect example of how hard work pays off—he put in the graft and worked around the challenges he faced at school to get the results he wanted, proving that dyslexia isn’t a stop sign, it’s just a different way of working. By sponsoring his testing programme, I’m supporting a young man who is actively de-stigmatising learning differences through sheer determination. We are now in the early stages of a school project to help other young people who might be struggling in the classroom find that same spark and the confidence to change their own story.”

Training with Purpose

The sponsorship will facilitate Lewis’s essential pre-season development, allowing him to hone his skills on track ahead of a competitive year. For Lewis, the tie-in between on-track training and educational advocacy is a perfect match.

“I am so grateful to Darren and DLF Domestic Services for their continued belief in me,” said Lewis Turkington. “Testing is where the real work happens—it’s about development, education, and constantly trying to improve. I’m especially proud to be working with Darren on our new school project. We want to encourage young people to find the drive within themselves, find what they are passionate about and use that energy to build their pathway.”

“Darren is backing Lewis because of his authenticity and refusal to let dyslexia be a stop sign,” said Lewis’s mother Louise Turkington. “Lewis’s real ‘testing’ happened during his GCSE revision last year; he treated his studies like a race programme, trialling different ways of working until he discovered his own unique ‘setup’ for success. He put in the graft to find out how his brain works, and he got the results he wanted. By sponsoring Lewis’s pre-season testing, Darren is supporting that same spirit of trial, error, and striving for excellence.”

Looking Ahead

While the school project remains in the development phase, both Lewis and Darren are committed to creating a motivating programme that offers genuine inspiration and practical encouragement for neurodiverse students. The partnership highlights Lewis’s own “Performance with Purpose” approach, using the discipline of motorsport as a metaphor for personal growth.

Lewis will continue his testing programme at Snetterton on Friday 13th March, Silverstone on 27th March, Snetterton on 7th April and Snetterton on 17th April.
