CHAMPION RV CHAMPIONS LEWIS’S RETURN
Driven by Determination, Turkington returns to the track at the Fiesta Junior Championship Season Finale
- After a season marked by determination and grit both on and off the circuit, Lewis Turkington returns to the track this weekend for his final race of the year — proudly backed by Champion RV.
- The young Driving Dyslexia Forward racer has been out of the driving seat since the end of August with a broken distal radius.
- Lewis was fighting for his place in the Autograss Junior National Championships final when the incident occurred.
- Incredibly, he went on to win his semi-final and take 4th place overall out of over 105 other competitors.
“Lewis’s commitment, even under pressure and pain, is exactly what we admire,” said Champion RV Sales Director Nick Marney *. “He displayed the determination of a champion that day he broke his arm, and his ‘stop-at-nothing’ attitude to be fit and ready to compete here at Brands Hatch has been inspiring. We’ve followed his father’s career with the BTCC, a series where we have a lot of customers, and so to support young Lewis on his return to the track is a pleasure for us. We wish him every success.”
- Now fully recovered and ready to race, Lewis is set to finish the season on his terms — with Champion RV in his corner.
“I am so grateful for the support from Nick and Karen at Champion RV. Being recognized for my achievements at the Junior Nationals and for my grit in getting back out in my Fiesta is incredibly motivating. I was just doing what I love, not thinking too much about it, but it’s such a reward to receive this support. I have been doing everything I can to speed up my recovery, and despite the setback, I feel stronger than ever. I was never going to accept that my season was over. I want to thank everyone who has helped me stay on track throughout this year, and I hope to reward them all with results they can be proud of this weekend.”
