BRITISH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

Saturday / Sunday 3rd and 4th June 2023

Lewis Turkington was a much talked about young driver last weekend as he took part in the British Junior Championships at Radford.  Still a newcomer to the scene and with little experience, the Driving Dyslexia Forward teenager impressed young and old with his fantastic results and flair!

THE BEST IN THE UK!

Competing against the best Juniors in the UK, all with extensive knowledge and experience, Lewis secured one 3rd place finish and three 2nd placed results to narrowly miss out on qualification for the final by one place!  Ending the two-day event in 9th position overall, Lewis displayed his recent learnings and produced some fabulous little drives.

AGAINST THE ODDS

Despite a clutch issue that was hampering his starts, the young racer from Bucks was rubbing wheels at the front and showed his exciting potential.  85 Juniors took part over the two days of competitions, battling it out in thrilling races to become the 2023 British Junior Champion.

LOTS TO CELEBRATE

Lewis’s superb set of results provided much to celebrate as was his smooth and consistent laps at a difficult track more suited to the Toyota Yaris.

Lewis will be back in action this weekend with a new clutch and hopeful of returning to his winning ways!
