STORY SO FAR
Hailing from Northern Ireland but schooled in Buckinghamshire England, Lewis has been immersed in Motorsport from as young as 11 weeks old. He got his first taste of speed and control at just 6 years old in a Bambino Kart and has been honing his skills ever since. Lewis has also gathered experience in all aspects of the motorsport business from car setup to commercial responsibilities right through to race team management. He has absorbed engineering expertise and race craft from the impeccable team at West Surrey Racing for over a decade and is committed to pursuing his own motorsport career.
Lewis will be competing in the Junior category of the National Autograss Championships throughout 2023 and will also take to the UK’s major circuits (Silverstone, Donington Park etc) for testing from June 2023. The 13-year-old from Milton Keynes has also been sim racing from the age of 7 and uses this to further enhance his leaning. Although petite, do not underestimate the grit and determination of this young lad whose purpose knows no bounds. Committed to carry on in his fathers footsteps, Lewis Turkington is the next generation on his journey into the sport.
Lewis is a kind, compassionate and hard working pupil in his educational setting most notably being chosen to train and represent his school as an Anti-Bullying Ambassador. A gentle spirit, Lewis aims to spread positivity in sport and inspire other young people to follow their dreams with his campaign – DRIVING DYSLEXIA FORWARD. Lewis loves football, basketball and athletics but is a passionate supporter of all sports particularly Formula One and Formula E.
